
Anna Klis is an Associate Professor of Economics at Northern Illinois University.
She is an applied game theorist. Her fields include public economics, environmental economics, and microeconomic theory, with a focus on externalities and coordination.
Education
Professor Klis earned her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (Dissertation Title: 'Essays on Externalities and International Cooperation: A Game Theoretic Approach') in May 2015 and joined NIU the following August. Klis is a microeconomist who applies the techniques of game theory to questions of public economics and externalities. She is also a faculty associate with the NIU Institute for the Study of the Environment, Sustainability, and Energy and the School for Public and Global Affairs.
