Community Health Innovation Learning Lab (CHILL)

is a collaborative program at 71 North Partnership Studio that brings together students, faculty, and community partners to explore new approaches to health and innovation. Guided by Lynn Herrmann, PhD, MPH, Certified Therapeutics Arts Practitioner and Professor of Public Health, CHILL provides a creative space for hands-on projects, conversations, and learning experiences that bridge public health, technology, and community well-being.

Through CHILL, participants engage in:

  • Collaborative Projects that address real-world health challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Creative Workshops such as mindful art practices to support wellness and spark ideas.
  • Student-Led Media, including the CHILL Podcast, where students produce episodes featuring faculty, experts, and community voices on health and innovation.
  • Community Connections that foster partnerships, amplify local initiatives, and encourage shared learning. CHILL combines research, practice, and creativity in a way that makes health and innovation accessible, inclusive, and impactful.
