Health Sciences student at Northern Illinois University on the Pre-Medicine pathway. She came to NIU after a year studying pre-medicine and biology at Northern Michigan University, where she made the Dean’s List.

She is a Research Rookies member on the heARTwork study, supporting in-person research sessions under a faculty mentor. In high school she built a financial literacy project through DECA, running events at her school, collecting data, and taking it to the state competition, where she placed second.

At 71 North she is looking for projects where health, mindfulness, and technology meet, including the possibility of a mindfulness-based VR game that ties into her research experience. She is also glad to help with outreach, promotion, and participant feedback on other members’ work.
