Mechanical Engineering student at Northern Illinois University, expected to graduate in May 2027. Their strengths are in CAD, GD&T, and working to engineering standards.
During a summer internship at Fairbanks Morse Defense, they created and revised SolidWorks models and drawings, updated GD&T to improve manufacturability, developed fastener torque specifications, and ran piston ring material and hardness analyses and tolerance stack-ups. Before that they spent four years at Menards, finishing as a head cashier who trained and scheduled other team members.
They joined 71 North for their senior design project, a pressure-sensing tile platform, and work on it with the team week to week.
