Mechanical Engineering student at Northern Illinois University and an NIU Merit Scholarship recipient. They came to NIU from Elgin Community College, where they earned an Associate in Engineering Science through the honors program.
They enjoy designing, building, and testing. They have repaired automatic screw machines and installed lubrication systems as a maintenance assistant, assisted on HVAC and construction projects, and started a lawn care and landscaping business with their brother. In class they have designed a can crusher mechanism and modeled airplane wing flutter.
They joined 71 North to work on the Vespa simulator as their senior design project, as part of the SimRig team.
