Betty is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Northern Illinois University, with an expected graduation in May 2026. Through active involvement in leadership roles at NIU, she has leveraged learning opportunities beyond the classroom to expand her technical and professional skill set.
In the summer of 2025, Betty interned with ComEd as part of the Performance Assessment Group, where she developed a system for generating quantitative analytical reports focused on safety performance. This experience reinforced her passion for data science and data-driven problem solving.
She has since accepted a full-time post-graduation role.
