Community Health Innovation Learning Lab

Community Health Innovation Learning Lab (CHILL)

is a collaborative program at 71 North Partnership Studio that brings together students, faculty, and community partners to explore new approaches to health and innovation. Guided by Dr. Lynn Herrmann, CHILL provides a creative space for hands-on projects, conversations, and learning experiences that bridge public health, technology, and community well-being.

Through CHILL, participants engage in:

  • Collaborative Projects that address real-world health challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Creative Workshops such as mindful art practices to support wellness and spark ideas.
  • Student-Led Media, including the CHILL Podcast, where students produce episodes featuring faculty, experts, and community voices on health and innovation.
  • Community Connections that foster partnerships, amplify local initiatives, and encourage shared learning. CHILL combines research, practice, and creativity in a way that makes health and innovation accessible, inclusive, and impactful.

We’ll provide all supplies, but feel free to bring your own notebook/sketchbook, favorite pen/marker.
