Improving diabetes care starts with better access, earlier diagnosis and stronger support for people managing their health.

MATTER is partnering with Beyond Type 1 to support the 2026 Beyond Barriers Innovation Accelerator, a funding opportunity of up to $50,000 for organizations advancing diabetes care.

We are looking for organizations and social entrepreneurs working to:

• Improve early and accurate diagnosis
• Reduce stigma that prevents people from seeking care
• Expand access to education, support and resources
• Develop new technologies, research or care models

If your work helps people access care more easily or live well with type 1 diabetes and/or type 2 diabetes, we encourage you to apply.

Selected organizations will receive:

• Grant funding
• Mentorship and structured guidance
• Ongoing support from MATTER and Beyond Type 1
• Access to a community of healthcare innovators
